Took thr Bullet train to Kyoko...

 Travel day - we navigated the Toyko subway system successfully, getting on the bullet train to Kyoto, enjoying the view of Mt Fuji. We then enjoyed some yummy food - duck, mackrle and eel, oh my!  Tomorrow is our tour around Kyoto- and my bag has been confirmed to have landed in Narita today so we hope to be reunited tomorrow - just in time!!!

 Nishiki Market was our first stop for us intrepid tourists - wow!  what a fun place!  the food was fantastic and Dad tried a largest oyster I've seen.. and after enjoying some waygu beef and some tempura shrimp, it was off to drop Stephen back to the train, then off to Shinshu Honbyo  then to Shosei-en Gardens and then, after a fantastic dinner, we walked throughout Nijo Castle and their light show..... The extraordinary temples of Kyoko

 We did the touristy thing today and did the The Perfect Kyoto Bus tour and saw 7 different temples or shrines.  The beauty of one yemple was outshined by the next temple... and then enjoyed some time in Gion area and a lovely dinner at a traditional Japanese restaurant- the first one that wasn't completely booked!  After 21,000 steps,  I am happily exhausted...until tomorrow.....
